Sá þessa um daginn, og var ekki alveg jafn hrifinn og allir:

Jújú, alveg vel gerð ræma, og allt það, ekkert óþægilega heimskuleg.  Las ekki bókina, en dettur í hug að einhverju hafi nú verið sleppt.

Mikið af gaurum að þramma um í drullu, stelandi mat af hinum og þessum, skjótandi í allar áttir.

En sú besta frá upphafi?  Nah.

Get nefnt betri: Das Boot, Come and see, Jarhead, M.A.S.H, Grave of the fireflies, Enemy at the gates... osfrv. 

Sú seinasta skorar kannski ekki hátt á raunsæi, en hefur skemmtanagildi.

Meira fyrir skemmtanagildið: The Brotherhood of War, The Bridge on the river Kwai, The Blue Max, Braveheart.  The Guns of Navarrone.

Maður fórnar raunsæi alveg fyrir skemmtanagildið.

Hvað með kvikmynd sem gerist eftir stríð?

Ég er viss um að Leitin að eldinum gerist eftir WW3.  Ekkert eftir nema mutants.  Þeir leita að eldi í 90 mín.  Spennandi.

Eða "The Time Machine" (1960).  Gaur ferðast frá 1900 til einhverntíma seinna, þegar Klaus Schwab & Bill gates hafa komist undan kjarnorkustyrrjöld með þvi að fela sig neðanjarðar, og hafa þjálfað kóvitleysingana sem búa enn á yfirborðinu til að koma þegar lúðrar eru þeyttir til þess að láta éta sig.
