"Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi is out. He tendered his resignation to President Sergio Mattarella. Mattarella is refusing for now. There will be another confidence vote.

Italy is woefully unprepared for this winter as gas storage is well below levels necessary to get through the winter. The problem is Italy and the EU have been lying publicly about it. According to EU data Italy’s gas system is over 65% full, with over 126 TWhrs available, in line with other major nations, like Germany.

Given how hated Draghi is in Italy, there is no way for him to continue given what we know now. Any further resistance by Mattarella will ensure the lot of them get lynched publicly."

Tesla segir hvenær það er til nóg rafmagn í heiminum

"Tesla is asking drivers of its electric cars to avoid charging during Texas' peak energy consumption hours to prevent strain on the Lone Star State's power grid.

Even as efforts have been made to make  changes to ERCOT's power grid, use of its electricity delivery infrastructure has fallen behind the summer energy demands. In the face of a heatwave ERCOT has called on residents to conserve electricity between the times of 2pm and 8pm."

Veðurfræðingar hafa áhyggjur sem eiga ekki við nein rök að styðjast.  Hiti er ekki vandamál, þess vegna er fleira fólk (og annað lífríki) við miðbaug en við pólana.
